Please note three coming events:

1. RUG meeting: 06 February 2013 (starting at 13:00) – 07 February 2013 (ending at 13:00)
   • Agenda will be diffused well in advance of the meeting
   • As in the last years the meeting will concentrate on operational aspects of the use of RODOS, and thus the main part of the meeting will be a discussion around topics brought up by the users. So please send Florian Gering (fgering@bfs.de) in advance of the meeting such topics which you would like to have discussed within the RUG.
2. JRODOS training course for beginners: 07 February 2013 (starting at 14:00) – 08 February 2013 (ending at 13:00)
3. JRODOS training course for experienced users: 07 February 2013 (starting at 14:00) – 08 February 2013 (ending at 13:00)
   • This course will be structured around three topics: world wide applicability of JRodos, Preprocessor for FDMT (which allows to run the model based on monitoring data alone), and ICRP-103 screening tool.

Remarks concerning JRODOS:

• More details about the JRODOS training courses will be distributed by KIT well in advance, including registration forms.
• A new version of JRodos will be available for download well in advance of the meeting, this will be announced by KIT (probably by end of 2012).

All these three events will be held at FZK (now: KIT) in Karlsruhe.

It is to note that travel costs have to be covered by the participants themselves, no fee is charged for the training course.

The third General Assembly of the NERIS Platform was held on the 15th of May 2012 (12.30 – 2.00 pm) in Glasgow at the occasion of the 13th International Congress of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA).

Creation of the NERIS Platform Association

The participants unanimously adopted the proposed statutes and reviewed Terms of Reference, prepared by the NERIS secretariat, in order to create a Non Governmental Organisation, under the French Law of 1901. The General Assembly participants confirmed the adoption of the legal statute of the European NERIS Platform Association.
