12th-13th november 2015

The Workshop is organised by IRSN and CEPN in the framework of the WP3 PREPARE Project (dedicated to the management of contaminated goods), in cooperation with the NERIS Platform. The Workshop, held in Paris on November 12-13, 2015 will be an opportunity to discuss and share the PREPARE WP3 results (lessons and conclusion of the Panels meetings organised in 11 countries), in the presence of national stakeholders (Consumers, producers, retailers…), international organisations (European Commission, FAO, WHO, OECD-NEA, IAEA, HERCA, ICRP, …) and Japanese colleagues involved in the management of contaminated products after the Fukushima accident (CRIEPI, University of Fukushima, producers and consumers NGO’s…).

The presentation of the PREPARE WP3 results will be structured in sessions around the main points tackled by the different national stakeholders such as: the preparedness modalities, the management of consumer goods production with the justification of maximum permissible levels and the implementation of optimization of radiological protection principle, the dissemination of information to different publics and the stakeholder participation processes, the role of the market and organization of the trade, the ethical considerations and the development of solidarity.

The Fifth NERIS General Assembly will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 2.00 to 5.00 pm at the occasion of the Fourth European IRPA Congress in Geneva. The meeting will be held at at the International Center of Conference Geneva (CICG).

During this Assembly, we will review the on-going activities of the NERIS Platform and we will discuss its perspectives, notably the organisation of the European Joint Programming (EJP) for Radiation Protection R&D in Europe.
